I'm such a Michigoose

So it's a little late, but I ran across this fabulous infographic via the NY Times on the most searched Thanksgiving recipes by state.  Michigan's combines two of my most happy foods: Cheesy potatoes.  The rest of the Michigan list is a little suspect (#2 is pretzel jello - I don't even want to know), and apparently frog eye salad (I'm not googling that one) is taking the west by storm, but there are a lot of standard goodies on the list.

Pretzel jello is a layered dessert or side dish. The pretzels are crushed to make a sweet-salty crust. There's usually a fruit-in-jello layer and a sweetened cream cheese layer. I don't make it, but it's a staple in my area.

I want some of that maple walnut pie!

The pretzel jello actually sounds pretty good, but I'm with you on that the maple walnut pie is on my list!
