Mix and Match
I bought a turquoise tweed blazer a few years ago, which I love dearly. I stick too much to wearing it with black and white, so in my fall sewing plans, I had a few turquoise items to add into the wardrobe. I posted my sewing plans on the wall and stacked the fabric there, and it worked - I've now completed three of the six items (including two turquoise ones)!
I've already gone into all the details on tie-dye silk blouse in my post from yesterday, but here is how I wore it! Sunday was a bit on the warmer side, so I just wore my blazer without another coat. Initially I wasn't sure I was going to like it after I made up the blouse, since the jacket is more muted, but I think it does work well together.
